Just like the wild sunflower is a part of the natural landscape, so too is the man. fashioned from the same soil as each of the world’s creations, he, too, fits into the circle of work earth. Just as the buffalo does.
He has granted the same space in which to grow while walking the land. But at some point, the balance shifted. And this shift came about when a man took the power of creation into his own hand. On that day that he removed his hand from the circle of balance, he found a new purpose for those now free hands.
